You told me it's okay to start in the middle.
One midday I decided to make a list of things we can do.

THE THINGS WE CAN DO

We can reclaim ourselves tired.
We can reclaim ourselves as precarious.
We can acknowledge our anthropocentric, patriarchal, colonial cultural heritage and work from here to try to decentre the point of view.
We can fail.
We can rediscover houseplants as companions with much to say.
We can reclaim ourselves as soft.
We can accept our vulnerability and dependence as a strength to sustain each other.
We can touch each other. We can touch without touching. We can touch each other halfway.
We can make a vegetable garden and call it our revolution.
We can buy a little plastic cane and not feel responsible for the end of the world.
We can dig in
We can prioritize friendships to establish deep affective relationships that last over time.
We can be late.
We can be wrong.
We can be curious.
We can be allies.
We can bake bread and chat.
We can find an excuse to meet.
